How to Make an EBook For Free
August 3, 2009 by admin · Leave a Comment
Ever want to share your expertise on a particular topic and create and sell an eBook to an interested audience? Now anyone can learn how to make an eBook for free – and you can even sell it with zero overhead, too!
Here’s how to make an eBook:
1.) Pick a niche. Do some competitive research on Amazon, ClickBank, PayDotCom and other sites to see what kind of information people are paying for.
2.) Conduct some keyword research to see what questions people have about this niche topic. Use keyword tools like Google’s External Keyword Tool, but also visit forums for the niche to spy on the consumers and see what their needs are, just as I did when I discovered many people were searching for the phrase “how to make an eBook.”
3.) Create your Table of Contents and begin writing based on the information you discovered. If you need research materials, use the Internet or visit your local library.
4.) Once your product is complete, go to Adobe’s online site and register for five free PDF conversions. This will take your Word document and convert it into a PDF for you. Zip the file up once you’re finished.
5.) Create a sales page on a social network like Squidoo, Hub Pages, Google Knol or a WordPress blog. Since you’re sticking to zero-cost options, you won’t have your own website to sell it from. Talk about the benefits this eBook can deliver to your customers.
6.) Have your customers pay you via PayPal and once you receive payment, send them the zip file from your hard drive.
This is the free way for how to make an eBook, but it’s much better if you invest at least $6.95 for a domain and $9.95 for monthly hosting and take your eBook sales to your own website.
The reason is you can automate everything when you have your own domain. You can have a payment button that you create via PayPal, which will deliver them to a download page once they’re made the purchase. You won’t have to manually deliver anything to your customers – it will all be o autopilot.
I teach people how to build an eBook empire at http://www.guide2ebooks.com by walking them through each step – from the conception of an idea to the final stages of promotion and expansion. You can read through the page to see what it offers and then download the first chapter at the bottom of the page absolutely free! I show you free and paid methods for how to make an eBook so you can stick to your own budget.

Ebook Writing Turn Free Ebooks into Profit Fast
July 20, 2009 by admin · Leave a Comment
Would you like to make money with ebooks? You can: start by giving ebooks away. Everyone loves freebies and you can turn this natural behavior to profit.
Here are three ways.
1. Give Free Ebooks Away to Build a Mailing List
You can give away a free ebook in exchange for contact details.
Once people have subscribed to your list not only do they get a free ebook from you, but you also have the chance to communicate with them regularly. They’re the perfect audience for future ebooks you write, because they know that you’re a trustworthy source of information.
Building an audience for future ebooks means that you don’t have to spend money on advertising, since you already have potential buyers you can contact whenever you wish.
2. Give Away a Free Ebook to a Large Web Site
Buying advertising on large Web sites is expensive. If you’ve written an ebook which will appeal to its target audience the site may agree to give away your ebook.
The site gets a freebie to give away, and you get a chance to build credibility and put your URL in front of many customers.
3. Turn an Ebook Into a Blog
Once upon a time you could give away a free ebook and have many downloads. However these days people are so pushed the time that ebooks have lost their appeal as freebies.
Yes, people will still download them — but they often don’t read them.
There is a way around this. Simply turn your ebook into a blog. This means that they only need to read as much as they wish to. You can monetize the blog with advertising, and build an audience for future ebooks.
Offer people the option to download the entire contents of the blog as an ebook if they wish.
“Free” is one of the most popular words in the language. You can make it your favorite word too. Give ebooks away, and you can make great money writing ebooks.

If it was at all a popular book, “Thurston’s” advertised it at eighty-nine cents— and in any case at a profit of only two or three cents. Of course it was done to widen the establishment’s patronage— to bring people into the store.
This will probably be my largest megathread by the time I’m done with is as this is like 5% of my political ebooks, I simply got tired of coding and. Brilliantly crafted in Krugman’s trademark style—lucid, ly, and supremely informed—this new edition of The Return of Depression Economics.

Top Secret Affiliate This Ebook Changed My Life
July 17, 2009 by admin · Leave a Comment
I bought Top Secret Affiliate last month and all I can say is awesome. I have been trying to make money online as an affiliate for about 1 and a half years and I have probably spent about $500 on ebooks. I don’t know if I was looking for the wrong products or what. Anway, here is what I think about Top Secret Affiliate.
First of all, the price is incredible. I couldn’t believe it. Here I was spending $50, $60, and sometimes $100 on ebooks that just led me nowhere. You get the ebook itself plus some great bonuses that are not just some crappy ebooks to entice you to buy, they actually go along with what the main ebook shows you.
My favorite chapter is chapter 8, Quick Start Guide. If you are strapped for time you can follow this chapter and be set up to make money within the hour. This is where I actually printed out the ebook and started taking notes. You will be taken from step one, choosing a product, to step 8, getting free traffic to your blog or website. It is all there, nothing is left out.
Now, if you don’t want to get involved with affiliate marketing then this ebook may not be for you. However, if you can follow a few steps that show you how to choose keywords and get free traffic then this will be for you.
Enough from me, I just want you to see the product for yourself, it works and I am very glad I bought it.

Incredible Ebook Affiliate Business Model Discussed
July 13, 2009 by admin · Leave a Comment
There are several companies that make eBooks for others, allowing them to put their names on them. This is akin to writing a term-paper for a college student to turn in to the professor, the student did not write it and presenting it as his or her own for a grade. Perhaps you can see the problem here, and while we decry cheating in academia, it appears in the eBook business this is an acceptable practice?
Well, actually it has not gone without notice. The SEC is now onto various licensed professionals in the securities industry that use these eBook on financial matters as selling tools. When a financial planner or sales person of a financial product puts their name on an eBook and uses that to help establish them as an expert with a client, they are misrepresenting themselves passing of work they did not do.
The new buzz-word on the Internet is “Informational Products” and eBook writing teams often use this buzz-word to sell their wares, but what they are doing is akin to helping college students cheat on tests. You see, I do not believe a business model the lies to consumers is an incredible one, rather it is a disgusting one in my opinion. Indeed, I believe that this crosses the ethical line and simply cannot muster the strength to get by the regulatory agencies.
In the US it is not okay for eBook writers to sell eBook about the following subjects in my legal opinion:
- Medical Ailments – because in the US you have to be licensed to practice medicine.
- Personal Finance and Taxes – because tax accountants, financial planners, broker-dealers are licensed, so those that take him up on it are Breaking SEC laws and may not but should realize it.
- Senior and Elder Care – because these are also licensed professions in the US.
Just because you can make money at something does not mean it’s ethical or that you should. Drug Dealers are engaged in a high-profit business too, a good “cash cow” business model, but that does not mean it’s okay. See that point?
As a writer, I’ve been asked to write eBooks on “Reverse Mortgages” and “Financial Planning Topics” and could very well do that, these books were to be rebranded by the company paying me to write it, with an commission on each one sold. But I will not do that because I would be enabling folks in the financial sector to break the law.
Although I, the writer or eBook Author would not be breaking the law by writing the book, I would be an enabler to someone else who allowed others to rebrand them pretending to have written them, and hand them to consumers making them look like experts, when they did not write these books themselves.
Now then when one mentions that other people write eBooks that are giant “Advertorials” they also cross into unethical territory, because there are Buzz-Marketing Laws and the consumer needs to know upfront what’s going on, otherwise these trickery tactics are dishonest. You see that point?
Those who write eBooks for others to put their names on are breaking an ethical code of conduct. Further, those who write “super long sales letters” and pass them off as eBooks are violating the trust of the reader. Please think on this.
