Best free c ebooks?

i haven't written one piece of code in my life. I was looking at Absolute Beginner's Guide to C, by greg perry i really like it. I read a couple of pages on amazon and it seems very easy to understand and simple. i've downloaded Thinking in C++ (waaayyy to complicated)
and Thinking in C: Foundations for Java and C++ (bORRINNGGG/ complicated) are there any easy to understand ebooks for complete beginner ebooks to c/c++ (possibly similar to Absolute Beginner's Guide to C)
