Affiliate ebooks – we’ve all come across them at least once. They all promise to make us rich. But the real question on everybody’s mind is… do they really work or are they just another online scam? While there are a few that are a great source of information, I am sorry to inform you that most of them do not do what they claim to do and are just another Internet scam. To understand why it really isn’t worth much to many of us, I will explain a few things about them.

It is important to note that there are two types of affiliate e books. One is that they promise to make us rich with their methods. The second is that they show us the methods that they used to make themselves rich. There is a big difference between the two, so please do determine which category the e book you are after, falls in. The first one which promises to make us rich is probably the most famous and yet the most abused e book.

Well based on my experience, I have never come across one that works, or even heard of one that works. Why? Well first look at the process they mentioned that will make you rich. They claim that all you need to do is either fill in the blanks of their program or follow their simple step by step instructions to create a profitable online business. The first one is totally worthless. There is no such thing as a program that will automatically generate money for you. Think about it logically, it is an online scam. The second one is also not worth much. Everything in the world is not constant and is always ever changing. Do you really believe that a set of predetermined instructions will work all the time and every time? The answer is no.

Now let’s look at the second category of affiliate e books, the ones that show you how they made it rich. These e books are usually much more valuable than those that fall under the first category. What they show are the methods and problems that you might face when trying to create your own online affiliate business. So the information that you might obtain could prove to be very effective to certain people depending on their business type. Why did I mention to certain people? Because it will not work for everyone.

Let’s say that you bought one of those affiliate e books on how to sell other e books. It will only prove useful if you applied it to sell e books and not other products. Other products, for example computer parts, will require a totally different type of strategy and approach. But even if you do sell only e books, it still doesn’t guarantee your success.

Even ebooks have different categories. And for each of those different categories the people who are interested in buying them are different, which means that the methods to approach them is also different. For example, a method to sell e books about medicine will be totally different to those for selling an e book about medicine.

The date of which the e books was released is also important. If the e book is over two years old, the methods shown inside might be obsolete as new methods and technologies arise in the Internet. So the next time you are planning to buy one of those affiliate e books, you might want to consider all of these factors first to ensure you get the most out of your money and to make sure you do not fall victim to one of those Internet scam.
